I love the whole process of cooking – from planning the meal, to shopping for ingredients, to cooking it and then enjoying the fruits of my labor. Like my grandfather always said, “sin sacrificio, no hay beneficio.” In other words, without sacrifice there are no benefits. Though I don’t find pottering about in the kitchen to be slave work, I find it quite theraputic and I’m sure that I am not the only one who feels this way given the amount of food blogs out there.
I am a 29 year old woman with a degree in Communications and a Culinary Diploma from The French Culinary Institute in New York City. I am on my journey of trying to blend both my passions. And though I have recieved extensive training in classic French technique, I am still very much your every day home cook. Well…maybe just a tad bit more adventourous!

I am very impressed with your new blog site, it is so you. You have been blessed in many ways but mostly with the genuine gift of gab and common sense. I have never known someone as driven as you are . Good luck to your new life and always remember how much you are appreciated. Carpe Diem
Hi Snics, I`m not often on Blogs but thought I`d pay a visit here. What a beautiful site this is. I do like the layout especially the knives and forks.
